June 14, 2007
Organizers: Raz Kupferman, Vered Rom-Kedar, Edriss S. Titi
Venue: The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel
Sponsor: The Arthur and Rochelle Belfer Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science We are pleased to invite the Israeli applied math community to participate in the seventh Israeli bi-annual Mini-Workshop in Applied and Computational Mathematics, to be held at The Weizmann Institute on Thursday, June 14, 2007. The idea of these workshops is to create a forum for workers in applied and computational mathematics, especially younger faculty members and students, to get to know other members of the community, and to promote discussion and collaboration. This time we would like to enhance the poster session - each researcher presenting a poster will have 5 minutes (of blackboard time) to explain the main ideas of the work.
If you would like to present a poster, please send a message to Carol Weintraub as soon as possible, and no later than June 1, 2007.
Registration: Participation in the workshop is free, but you are asked to register by sending an email to Carol Weintraub, so we can be adequately prepared for the day (i.e., make sure you've got something to eat).
