The People

Faculty Structure

The Faculty is administratively divided into two departments: the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (Tamar Flash, Head), and the Department of Mathematics (Gideon Schechtman, Head). The Faculty also hosts the John von Neumann Minerva Center for Verification of Reactive Systems (Amir Pnueli, Director), and the Moross Laboratory for Vision Research and Robotics (Shimon Ullman, Director), and is supported by the Arthur and Rochelle Belfer Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (Zvi Artstein, Director).

Students

Faculty members are involved in the activities of the Feinberg Graduate School insofar as teaching and supervision of theses are concerned, through the Board of Studies in Mathematics and Computer Science (Ronen Basri, Chairperson).

Faculty members are involved in teaching approximately twenty graduate courses per semester. In addition, at any given time, they supervise over 100 Ph.D. and M.Sc. students.
