Other Controls

The line above the status line contains two buttons, a toggle switch and the cursor information display.

The Stop button may be used to stop playing. It also turns off Auto Repeat and Palindrome modes, without recourse to the Motion menu.

The Mark button is used to mark/unmark the current image.

The Sync toggle turns synchronization with other animate applications on and off. When two or more applications are synchronized, playing and stepping proceed in parallel (see 3.6).

While the cursor is within the image of an application which is not playing, crosshairs appear over the same pixel in each of the other non-playing, synchronized application images.

The cursor position is displayed in square brackets while Cursor is selected, the sequence is not Animated, and the cursor is within the image.

The window width may be increased to show a truncated part of the cursor information.
