The GUI of animate has been completely reworked, using Motif 1.2 (Lesstif may be used on SunOS and Solaris systems). Several features have been added to make the application more suitable for research. The full path1 of the animate executable is:
/usr/local/ImageTools/bin/animate
Add the term ``/usr/local/ImageTools/bin:'' to your PATH variable to simplify access. Other ImageMagick applications are also available on this path. The other applications are: combine, convert, display, identify, import, mogrify, montage.
