We propose  innovative methods for depicting the  essence of a video clip.     The motivating scenario are video sharing web services, where multiple unknown clips are presented simultaneously.  

The proposed techniques provide efficient ways for providing visual summaries of a clip in a verity of  formats, dynamic still,  clip trailer, and an interactive video browser.
