Imagine your dance teacher performs a movement, while you try to imitate her. Your brain needs to convert millions of pixels on your retina to millions of commands to your motor neurons. Your brain has to perform a complicated transformation between two very large, and very different spaces: a low-level visual space and a low-level motor space. |
