To: the attendees of the Weizmann Workshop on Randomized Algorithms Here is some basic information regarding the workshop Yours, Moni. ======================================================================= VITAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE WORKSHOP WHERE: The workshop will be held on the campus of the Weizmann Institute Rehovot, Israel. Rehovot is located about 10 miles from the Ben-Gurion International Airport, about 15 miles from Tel-Aviv and 35 miles from Jerusalem. WHEN: Sunday to Tuesday, Dec 20th-22nd, 1998. The sessions will start on Sunday morning (around 9:30AM) and end on Tuesday early afternoon. TALKS: The talks will be held in the lecture hall of the Mathematical Sciences Faculty, Ziskind Building, in Room no. 1 (the building also says Belfer Center) ACCOMMODATIONS: Your room will be at the San Martin guest house. The charge is $50 a night (for a single room). We also offer to help you with hotel reservations in Tel-Aviv or Jerusalem for the time beyond the workshop. LUNCH: Will be held on campus at the nearby dining facility called "Charlie's Place." ARRIVAL TO THE WEIZMANN INSTITUTE: The best method is to take a taxi from the Airport - As soon as you pass customs, when you exit the building, straight ahead (and a bit to the right) is an airport taxi station. Ask for a taxi to The Weizmann Institute, in Rehovot. If you arrive to the Institute during working hours (until 4:00p.m.) ask the taxi to take you to the San Martin Guest House where on the first floor (1 flight up) awaits your key at the reception desk. If you should arrive to the Institute after 4:00PM your key, along with instructions on how to arrive to your room, will await you at the main gate. Hold the taxi while you inquire at the gate, for you will need him to drive you to the San Martin Guest House.
