I am a Mathematics PhD student at the Weizmann Institute in
Israel, advised
by Elchanan
Mossel. My research is in applied
probability, statistics and probability theory,
including the dissemination of information in social networks,
combinatorial statistics, game theory and Poisson
boundaries of random walks on groups.
I got my BSc in Computer Science and Physics from Tel Aviv
University. During my time there I participated in the search
for extrasolar planets, with the
brilliant Tsevi
Mazeh.
I have been at the Weizmann Institute since 2008, where I received
my MSc in 2010. In the summer of 2010 I interned
with Adam
Kalai at Microsoft Research New England, where we worked
on machine learning.
I have some experience in the software industry, having worked on
algorithm development
in Schema, Correlix
and RankAbove.
I am a Google Europe Fellow and have attained Gold status in
Continental Airlines in both 2008 and 2011.
