I am a professor at the Computer Science and Applied Math Department of the Weizmann Institute of Science. I also held visiting positions at Google Research and Microsoft Research. I completed my PhD in 2010 at the Hebrew University.
My research focuses on theoretical aspects of machine learning, in areas such as theory of deep learning, the intersection of machine learning and optimization, and learning with information and communication constraints.
Note: Starting from September 2025, I am on sabbatical leave as a visiting professor at the University of Toronto. In particular, I will not be hosting new students / postdocs / visitors at the Weizmann Institute during this time.
