Some members of our community have requested that we try to
avoid having technical sessions on Friday and especially Saturday.
The steering committee is sympathetic to this request, but does not
make compliance a requirement or a key consideration is evaluating
the proposal. Nevertheless, we feel that it is nice to try to accommodate
the request, especially if that's possible without harming any other
important consideration. Similarly, try to avoid Purim vacation
(a jewish holiday that takes place in a lunar-calender date
that usually falls in Feb/Mar).
