The first Theory of Cryptography Conference will he held in Cambridge MA, USA, at MIT. Papers presenting original research on theoretical and foundational aspects of cryptography are sought.
The Theory of Cryptography Conference deals with the paradigms, approaches and techniques used to conceptualize, define and provide solutions to natural cryptographic problems. More specifically, research in this area includes:

Instructions for authors: The submission should begin with a title, names, affiliations and contact information of authors, and a short abstract. It should contain a scholarly exposition of ideas, techniques, and results, including motivation and a clear comparison with related work. The length of the paper should be at most 12 letter-sized pages, excluding bibliography and appendices, in 11pt or larger font with reasonable spacing and margins. Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors has published elsewhere or has submitted in parallel to any other conference or workshop that has proceedings.
Electronic submissions: A detailed description of the electronic submission procedure will appear by August 20, 2003. This is the only possible form of submitting papers to the conference (In particular, hardcopy or emailed submissions will not be considered.) Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference.
Proceedings: Proceedings will be published in Springer-Verlag's Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series and will be available at the conference. Instructions about the preparation of a final proceedings version will be sent to the authors of accepted papers. The final copies of the accepted papers will be due on November 29, 2003.
