JDCS: TeX resources for authors

TeX resources for authors

Though the authors are encourages to submit their compuscripts in all major dialects of TeX (plain TeX, LaTeX, AmSTeX, AmS-LaTeX), the style files are currently supplied for only AmS-LaTeX connoiseurs (sorry for the others...) Below you find the (standard) files,

  28 amsart.sty            4 gmjn.sty             88 jdcsampl.tex
   8 amsart10.sty          4 intlim.sty            8 jdcsampl.toc
   4 amsart11.sty         12 jdcsampl.aux          4 margid.sty
   4 amsart12.sty        140 jdcsampl.dvi          4 parasubs.sty
   8 amssymb.sty          12 jdcsampl.log          4 righttag.sty
which you can downlowad, but in fact the only two files that are not included in the standard distribution of AmS-LaTeX, are gmjn.sty and parasubs.sty. Quite obviously, jdcsampl.tex is the sample file and around the auxiliary files left over after TeX-ing it.

Remarks for TeXperts

For the moment the publisher converts various dialects of TeX into AmSLaTeX with the words like "Theorem", "Definition" etc indented by three "\ "-spaces. Other options are set by the style macro
\documentstyle[gmjn,parasubs,intlim,amssymb,righttag]{amsart}
The authors addresses and affiliation are typed "as is" at the end of the manuscript without invoking AMS macros. The bibliography also is referred to by numbers in square brackets and typed "as is" (not using \bibitem or similar devices).

In short, you have to be very much motivated if you wish to see your paper on screen exactly as it will appear in print, but in princple this can be done.
