As of July 2009 I moved to London, Ontario where I'm doing a post-doc in the University of Western Ontario with Olga Veksler and Yuri Boykov.

Research Interests

My research has focused on computer vision tasks such as:
  • Shape Representation
  • Visual Object Recognition
  • Class-based Segmentation
  • Human Action Recognition
  • Medical Imaging
  • Statistical Machine Learning
  • OCR
    • Specifically, I have developed methods that explicitly extract and represent shape information present in images and video sequences and incorporate this information in the process of recognition.
