Israel's PM: Israel is more respectful of human rights than ISIS

(Or maybe: ISIS is less respectful of Human rights than Israel.)

The full quote from Netanyahu's statement on Jun 3rd 2015 reads:

Israel has an exemplary democracy: We have academic freedom, press freedom, human rights. ISIS tramples human rights to the dust. It burns people alive in cages and the national student groups in Britain refuse to boycott ISIS and have boycotted Israel.
The truth, off course, is different. Democracy in Israel is understood in a very narrow and formal manner, which does not include respect of human rights. That is, systematic and acute violations of human rights are characteristic of the Israeli regime. This is most evident with respect to the Palestinians living under Israel's military occupation, but also very clear with respect to (non-jewish) refugees and foreign workers and also with respect to Palestinians citizens of Isreal (a.k.a the Arab minority). Even the human rights of jewish citizens (i.e., dissdents of all sorts) are often violated, whenever this serves the policies of the government (i.e., required by ``security'' considerations, needed to maintain ``public order'', required for guaranteeing governability, needed for providing ``economical viability'', required for preservation of a religious status quo, etc etc).

The current policies of the government, headed by Netanyahu, also threathen academic freedom and press freedom.
