Oded's comments
I am delighted to announce a new intiative
by Eric Blais, Sourav Chakraborty, and C. Seshadhri:
A much needed website devoted to reporting
"the latest in property testing and sublinear time algorithms".
The site is called
Property Testing Review,
an it alread has over a couple of dozens records, covering the months
of June--August 2013, including the
Property Testing and Sublinear Time Algorithms held in at Haifa
in June 17-18 and a few relevant talks
at the last
RANDOM-APPROX conference (Aug 21-23).
The original info - About PTReview
The purpose of PTReview is to be a general resource for property testing
and sublinear algorithms. The content is basically in the following format.
- Monthly news: This is a monthly summary of property testing and sublinear
algorithms papers that have appeared in the past month. These are usually
obtained through ECCC and Arxiv postings for that month.
- Conference reports: A quick blurb about all property testing papers that
appeared in a conference, compiled by an attendee.
- Surveys and guest posts: Exactly what you might think they are. General
posts on topics of interest.
As of now, the moderators are
Eric Blais, Sourav Chakraborty, and C. Seshadhri.
Feel free to contact us at little.oh.of.n@gmail.com.
We are looking for reviewers who can collect papers of the month,
so do email us if you'd like to be involved.
Many thanks to Krzysztof Onak for hosting this on sublinear.info.
