Ohad Shamir

I'm a professor at the Computer Science and Applied Math Department of the Weizmann Institute of Science. Before that, I was a post-doctoral and associate researcher at Microsoft Research New England. I completed my PhD in 2010 at the Hebrew University.

My research focuses on theoretical aspects of machine learning, in areas such as theory of deep learning, the intersection of machine learning and optimization, and learning with information and communication constraints.
