Scene and Rate Controls

The line below the image contains the Scene and Rate controls.

The Scene value, following ``Scene:'' is the index within the entire sequence of the currently displayed image. The Rate value, following ``f/sec:'' is the rate of display of images in images/second.

Each may be set directly by selecting its value and entering a new value, followed by <Return>.

Values for the Scene are in the range from 1 to the total number of scenes.

Values for the Rate may be any positive integer or real number. The maximum Rate is 100 frames/second. 1000/Rate is the delay between scenes in milliseconds. Thus a Rate of 0.25 corresponds to a delay of 4 seconds between scenes.

The right part of the line is a Rate scale. To change the Rate, press on the box inside the scale and drag it to the right/left to increase/reduce the Rate of display of sequence images (to decrease/increase the delay between scenes). You can also manipulate the rate scale by selecting it and using the left and right arrow keys to decrease or increase the rate.
