Status Line

 The Status Line at the bottom of the window provides dynamically changing information about the state of sequence display.

The left part of the Status Line is an arrow composed of a mode indicator (- | = | *) and a direction sign (> | <).

The mode indicator denotes the Motion mode, Run Forward, Run Backward, Auto Repeat or Palindrome.

``-'' indicates Run mode or stepping;
``='' indicates Auto Repeat mode;
``*'' indicates Palindrome mode (Note that the mode is not effected by mouse button clicks on the image.)

The direction sign shows the current direction of the sequence; if the sequence is not Animated, this is the direction in which it will start Animation when the middle mouse button is clicked on the image, or when the Auto Repeat or Palindrome item is selected.

``>'' indicates forward direction;
``<'' indicates backwards direction.

The right part of the Status Line is the name of the file containing the image, followed by square brackets containing the index of the image at which playing last started, or of the image displayed following a step or a stop; the index is followed by the total number of images in the sequence.

``+'' precedes the name of the file, if the image is marked.

``!'' follows the right part of the Status Line, while the (sub)sequence is Animated.

The window's width may be increased manually to show a truncated part of the status line.
