Introduction to Representation Theory - Spring 2020, WIS

Introduction to Representation Theory through finite and compact groups

The lectures will usually take place on Wednesdays at 10:15 - 13:00 in Ziskind 155 The exercise session by Amos Kaminsky will take place on Thursdays 10:15 - 12:00 in Goldsmith 208. We will have ~12 lectures.

Prerequisites: Linear algebra and familiarity with the notion of group. Near the end of the course we will also use the notion of topological space and maybe also notion of Hilbert space.
