PATHWAYS ON THE WEB

A growing number of bioinformatics resources and projects are dedicated to biochemical pathways and processes.

Several formal representation languages have been suggested, including the pi-calculus, and various databases of signal transduction and metabolic pathways are being developed. Collaborative consortiums coordinate some of these efforts.

*        Formal representations languages and simulation systems

*        Consortiums and initiatives

*        Signal transduction databases

*       Metabolic pathways databases

Many additional databases and bioinformatics resources can be found using the Pathway Bibliography.
