Introduction to Representation Theory - Spring 2020, WIS

Introduction to Representation Theory through finite and compact groups

The lectures will usually take place on Thursdays at 14:15 - 16:00 in zoom, 96740118331. The exercise session by Itamar Vigdorovich will take place on Tuesdays 10:15 - 12, 92119983856. We will have ~14 lectures.

Prerequisites: Linear algebra and familiarity with the notion of group. Near end of the course we will also use the notion of topological space and maybe also notion of Hilbert space.
